What we collect

PhotoShare stores the photos you upload along with their embedded metadata (timestamp, GPS coordinates, camera details) so that tags, map, and timeline views can be built automatically.

Access controls

An album's visibility, download, and edit permissions are set by the album owner. Only people invited to a group can see that group's albums — nothing is public by default.

Face tagging

People tags are created and applied within your own group's albums and are not shared, matched, or compared across other groups on PhotoShare.

Location data

• GPS metadata powers the map view for albums that have it.
• You can strip location metadata from an album before sharing it.
• Deleted photos and their metadata are purged within 30 days.

Terms of use

By creating a group, you confirm you have the right to share the photos you upload with the members you invite.
